This two-part case study explores some of the gaps in the narrative for the film, such as those dealing with timelines, questions about the anonymous benefactor and missing financial records of the deceased, and the role antisocial personality disorder (APD) plays in depicting the main character, Dylan “D.” Forrester, or referred to as D. Forrester in this eBook and referred to in the film as “D.”
Overview
Favors Film Guides Online is an online resource companion to Favors Film Guides, which represent print-based case studies of select films, subject to fair use. It is also a direct companion to Dangerous 2: The Hunt spec script. For copyright purposes, the spec script is not included.
Purpose
The purpose of this eBook case study is to offer insight into the narrative structure of the film, offer solutions for closing gaps in the narrative world, and provide a solution by introducing subplots for main characters.
Organization
The organization of this eBook case study is in two parts:
- Part One focuses on conducting a gap assessment of Dangerous (2021).
- Part Two focuses on considerations for a Dangerous 2: The Hunt sequel.
Part Two particularly repairs the initial narrative strategy surrounding lithium as a prescription option for antisocial personality disorder (APD), confirming that it is not an FDA-approved drug for APD; instead, it is FDA-approved for borderline personality disorder and bipolar disorder.
Part Two also offers subplot considerations.
